MD to MD, LLC offers medical transcription, sports medicine transcription and academic transcription services to medical facilities, hospitals, sports organizations and universities throughout the United States.

We convert voice to editable text documents in the most invisible, efficient and affordable way possible. We achieve this by using our pool of highly-skilled transcribers and cutting-edge technology. Our aim is to deliver a personalized high-quality service maintaining your turnaround times thereby improving your business processes.

Medical and sports medicine transcription includes our dictation, transcription and workflow solutions with EHR EMR (Electronic Health/Medical Record) interfaces while ensuring the strictest HIPAA and HITECH standards. (Health Insurance Portability and Accountability Act and Health Information Technology for Economic and Clinical Health Act).

Academic transcription services are I.R.B. compliant and also include our new offerings of Spanish to Spanish transcription as well as translation services between English and Spanish and Spanish to English.

Our History

MD to MD, LLC, located in Silicon Valley, opened its doors in 1995 and was originally located in Burlingame, California. Like many small businesses, the company started as a single-person operation with one small account. The company grew quickly, mainly through customer referrals.

In 2003, we relocated to larger offices in Redwood City, California. We began to transcribe for larger clinics and hospitals, as well as for multiple professional sports teams. We became specialists in this niche, transcribing medical reports related to athlete injuries and sports medicine.

In 2010, we responded to requests from multiple academics and universities and expanded our service offerings to include transcription for academic institutions, transcribing dissertations, interviews, focus groups, and other qualitative research.

In 2015, we relocated our office to its current location in San Carlos, California.

With our entirely digital interface, we are able to service clients around the nation, and to employ transcribers all over the United States and abroad.
